We are at a densely populated residential area in Beirut which was hit. There are commercial buildings as well as apartments, home to thousands and thousands of people. They were hit with absolutely no warning. While many of Israel’s previous strikes have been in areas known to be Hezbollah strongholds, many of today’s strikes are in an area that’s not widely seen as a Hezbollah stronghold. They came without warning and caught people completely by surprise. That had a devastating effect.
